An academic book that systematizes applied research experiences in cognitive design and interaction with older adults, using a research through design approach. The project was led by Claudia Rojas , director of Taller 11, and brings together methodological, theoretical, and practical contributions on the role of design in contexts of cognitive stimulation and active aging. I participated as editorial designer and creative director , developing the graphic structure, layout, visual navigation systems , and overall aesthetic coherence of the book. The challenge was to translate complex concepts into a clear and visually stimulating reading experience that reflected the connection between thought, body, and design.

The editorial design articulates a graphic system based on lines, nodes, and connections, visually translating the book’s underlying structure of investigative thought. This visual logic extends across sections, typographic hierarchies, and double-page layouts, building a clear and rhythmic narrative. I also developed visualizations for complex conceptual models, aimed at facilitating the understanding of theoretical frameworks and methodological processes within cognitive design.

I also led the art direction for the book’s editorial presentation, including the design of the printed mockup and its adaptation for digital distribution. The result is a publication that balances academic readability with graphic sensitivity, projecting its research value across both specialized settings and cultural platforms such as FILBo 2025.
